Fermented Tzatziki Sauce
Using kefir as a sauce base will supercharge your sauces with gut-healthy probiotics.
Ingredients
½ cup raw kefir
½ cup grass fed full-fat greek yogurt
1 clove of organic garlic, pressed
2 tablespoons organic fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon unrefined salt
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Refrigerate for 2+ hours to allow flavors to set.
Serve with lamb chops, salmon, burger patties, or as a base for a cucumber salad. This is a very versatile sauce.
Notes
For a thinner result, use more kefir to yogurt.
For a consistency closer to a spread/dip, use more yogurt to kefir.
