Fermented Tzatziki Sauce

Using kefir as a sauce base will supercharge your sauces with gut-healthy probiotics.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw kefir

  • ½ cup grass fed full-fat greek yogurt

  • 1 clove of organic garlic, pressed

  • 2 tablespoons organic fresh dill, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon unrefined salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Refrigerate for 2+ hours to allow flavors to set.

  3. Serve with lamb chops, salmon, burger patties, or as a base for a cucumber salad. This is a very versatile sauce.

Notes

  • For a thinner result, use more kefir to yogurt.

  • For a consistency closer to a spread/dip, use more yogurt to kefir.
