Whipped Bone Marrow Butter

Traditionally, the bone marrow of large animals was valued as an extremely nutritious and sought after food. Bone marrow is often called “God’s butter.”

Ingredients

  • 4 oz roasted pasture-raised bone marrow

  • 4 oz raw butter

  • 1 teaspoon unrefined salt

Directions

  1. Roast marrow bones at 450°F for 30 minutes, or until the marrow is bubbling out.

  2. Let cool and blend/whip everything with an immersion blender.

  3. Use as you would butter as a topping or dip.
